Additional Information: | This one-story gabled-ell farmhouse is of frame construction, sheathed in clapboard, resting on a stone foundation. Asphalt shingles cover the roof. Windows are one-over-one double-hung sash. A modern porch supported by posts is located along the length of the wing of the front (south) facade. The closed rail porch features a shed rood and a modern exterior concrete block chimney. The property also features five outbuildings. A c. 1900 barn located to the east of the house features a cut limestone foundation, gambrel roof with hay-hood, vertical wood cladding, and a modern overhead garage door. A small c. 1900 root cellar is located directly behind the house. A c. 1930 two-bay brick garage is located east of the house. A c. 1940 Quonset hut storage building is north of the barn. The building itself features a half-cylindrical roof covered with corrugated metal and a large sliding entrance door. A c. 1940 single-bay storage building with a round roof is located to the southwest of the house. |
