"Built by Dietrich Wittenberg, one of the founders of the Cedarburg Woolen Mill, this cream city brick house is an example of Victorian Italianate design. The basically square plan is relieved by a projecting entrance pavilion with broken pediment. Original cornice brackets remains, but the front porch has been replaced. This home was Cedarburg's first to be electrified, using power generated at Wittenberg's mall across the street." A Walk Through Yesterday in Cedarburg
