NOTES
Additional Information:This church was built with multi-colored brick and rests on a stone foundation. The church has an overall ell form with an east-west nave and historic additions which extend south fron the east of the nave. The nave of the church has a small vestibule at its front entrance and a square tower with battlements and corner pier battresses attached to its southeast corner. Windows are fixed-frame, three-light and have shallowly pointed brick lintels. The facade and tower are accented with courses of stone. The nave and historic additions have matching stone foundation indicating that they were constructed around the same time. These additions consist of a side-gabled wing, oriented to the west, which is attached to the tower and has a single gabled dormer and another gabled portion, oriented to the south that features three wall dormers on its south elevation, small vestibule, and a number of brick-in and altered windows on its east elevation.
Bibliographic References:Original plans, dated April 1925 and executed by E. Brielmaier & Sons, are on file at the Wisconsin Architectural Archive, Milwaukee Public 9Central) Library.
