Additional Information: | July 2005-This two-story, vinyl-sheathed residence rises from a brick foundation and is topped with a hipped roof. Gabled wall dormers break the roof line to the south, west and east; each carries a single-two-light opening. An enclosed porch stretches across the primary (south) façade and it includes both single and paired, five-light windows. Windows throughout the remainder of the home are generally irregularly placed and const of two-light openings. This house was built circa 1912; the original owner of which is believed to have been Chicago & Northwestern Railway agent George H. Levenhegen and his wife Helen. Following George#25;s death in 1945, Helen remained at the home until her death in 1971. In approximately 1950, the single home was divided into two units; it remains a two-family home today. |
