Additional Information: | 2025: Resurveyed for Main St. reconstruction project. The G. Reinke & Company building is a one-story commercial building constructed 1916 and later expanded around 1925 to its present form. The principal elevation is symmetrical in composition with a central plate glass storefront consisting of the entrance, flanking plate glass windows, and a transom. Stylistic details include a flat roof with a stepped parapet, geometric ornamentation, muted polychromatic details, low-relief brick details, and belt courses. A shorter, one-story wing is attached to the south elevation and shares similar stylistic details. The property also contains a large storage warehouse (AHI 247729) and a display yard for monuments (AHI 247730). |
