Essentially Quonset in shape, one-story building, east/west axis, covered with board. Buttressing is evident along both north and south elevations. 120 feet long, 66 feet wide. arched ceiling reportedly free of roof beams, As of 2005 the building was owned by the Neenah Racquet Club.

This building was built on the grounds of the Charles R. Smith Residence (824 East Forest Avenue - AHI #0016519) between 1927 and 1928 by Mowry Smith. Mowry was the son of Charles R. Smith, the latter having served as the president of the Menasha Wooden Ware Co. until his death in 1916. An Article in the Oshkosh Northwestern notes that this structure was only the second of its kind in the Midwest - the other reportedly located in Indianapolis, Indiana.
