Additional Information: | THE ORIGINAL BRICK PORTION OF THIS BUILDING IS THE LAST REMAINING PORTION OF THE UPHAM MANUFACTURING CO. PLANT, WHICH WAS MARSHFIELD'S MOST IMPORTANT NINTEEENTH CENTURY INDUTRY. THIS BUILDING WAS THE PLANT'S MACHINE SHOP AND IT NOW HAS A LARGE L-PLAN ONE-STORY FLAT-ROOFED CONCRETE BLOCK ADDITION TO THE REAR THAT WAS BUILT AFTER 1960. |
