Additional Information: | THE FIRST STORY OF THIS QUEEN ANNE STYLE HOUSE IS NOW CLAD IN VINYL BUT THE SECOND STORY IS STILL CLAD IN WOOD SHINGLES. THE HOUSE WAS BUILT IN 1905. 2005- 2 stories, L-shaped plan, Foundation walls of cut stone, now covered with stucco. Exterior walls of first story were orginally clad in narrow-gauge clapboards, but have been with vinyl clapboard of the same gauge. Second story is clad in wood shingles. Windows are 1-over-1-light double-hung wood sash. Multi-gable roof. Dominant feature of main, south-facing facade is a 2-story polygonal bay that is centered on the facade and capped with a pavilion style polygonal roof. Full-width front porch with turned wooden balusters are modern reproductions of originals. Fine, hipped-roof garage located at rear of property. |
