Additional Information: | The Appleton USARC consists of 3 buildings on approximately 4 acres of land. The buildings include a training and administration building (AHI #0138618), an Organizational Maintenance Shop (AHI #0138619 )and a general warehouse building (this entry). The warehouse was built in 1958 as a maintenance shop for the Army Reserve Center and is now used as a general storage facility, having been replaced by the new Organizational Maintenance Shop in 1985. The building sits on a poured reinforced concrete foundation and walls constructed of concrete block faced with brown brick. The building has a low-pitched shed roof. There are three large overhead retractable bay doors on the building's south elevation. There is a single metal pedestrian door on the north side of the building. |
