| Additional Information: | Type 1. The main block of Type 1 homes is side-gabled, while a pair of steeply pitched gables (separated by a short pent) project along the primary facade and extend to form the roofline of each porch. Windows along the entrance elevations's first level consist of two paired examples, while a second set of paired openings are located immediately above, along the upper level. Original window arrangement along the side walls include a pair of sashes on the lower level, whlie a series of three single windows line the second floor; a small sash window situated in the gabled peak. Of the ten Type 1 homes, one retains its original clapboard sheathing, eight are covered with vinyl siding, while the remaining duplex is sheathed with asphalt shingles. |
