Additional Information:A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. 1998-
Sturtevant USARC consists of two buildings located on 10.85 acres of land. The area immediately surrounding the buildings is covered by asphalt or concrete, with some landscaped areas. The land has been significantly altered by construction activities and grading for parking areas. The facility is located in an urban, mixed-use area.

The facility is owned by the U.S. Government and controlled by the 88th RSC.

Sturtevant USARC consists of a training building and a vehicle maintenance shop (Organizational Maintenance Shop or OMS in Army Reserve terminology). The buildings are in good condition and do not appear to have been significantly modified since their original construction. Neither of them exhibit significant architectural character or merit.

The training building functions as an administrative and drill facility for Sturtevant USARC. Constructed in 1994, it is a one-story building, V-shaped in plan. The outside wall of each wing is broken by a 1½-story block. These stepped gable roof blocks also break the otherwise flat roof of the main building. The Reserve Center rests on a poured concrete foundation and has concrete block walls with a brick veneer. A recessed entrance is located on the inside wall at the conjunction of the wings. Single and paired pedestrian doors are located around the perimeter of the building. The inside wall has nine sets of windows.
