NOTES
Additional Information:Building 509 was constructed in 1961 as an operations/maintenance building and replaced an older wood-frame building with the same building number. The one-story building has concrete-block walls that were refinished with exterior insulation finishing system (i.e., dryvit) in 1992. The gable roof is sheathed with composition shingles. The doors and windows are replacement units. An overhead track door and one single metal door occupy the north and south ends. Single doorways containing metal doors with single lights are located in the east and west elevations. A gable roof shelters the doorway in the west elevation. The windows are modern, metal-frame fixed units with hopper windows below. Drawings dated 1975 indicated that the building was remodeled and an addition as constructed on one end of the building. In the 1990s, the windows were replaced and the exterior finish was applied. Interior alterations and remodeling were undertaken in 1992.
