2015 - The Dead Animal House/Longview Cabin is a one-story vernacular frame cottage with a square plan, concrete block foundation, vertical half-split log siding, and asphalt-shingled hip roof with a lean-to extension on the north side. Entry to the building is through a screened porch which spans the entire width of the south elevation facing Beaverdam Lake. Fenestration includes one-over-one double-hung wood sash windows throughout, apart from two pairs of four-light square windows on the north elevation. A stone chimney is located on the east elevation.

The interior of the building includes three bedrooms, one bathroom, a living room, and small kitchen. A large stone fireplace is situated between windows on the east wall and has a cast concrete mantel and stone tile hearth.
