Additional Information: | This two-story duplex is of frame construction with a rectangular plan and rests on a concrete foundation. The side gambrel roof is covered with asphalt shingles and displays wide overhanging eaves, continuous shed roof dormers, and an interior brick chimney. A small, one-story wing with a rectangular plan is located on the side (east) elevation. Windows are six-over-one, double-hung sash with wood surrounds. An arched portico supported by decorative brackets shelters an entryway on the front (north) facade. The entrance door is flanked by simple pilasters and features a decorative wood surround. A two-story historic addition with gambrel roof is located on the side (west) elevation. The addition transformed the building from a single-family dwelling into a duplex. |
