Additional Information: | This Cape Cod home features an exterior chimney along its east endwall. It's central entry is topped with a gabled pediment, while the door itself features a classically inspired wooden surround. A single, multiple-light, sash window occupies the wall space to either side of the entry. A small shed-roof dormer rises at the rear of the home, while a small, one-story, bay window extends from the home's east wall. This house was originally owned by William Kerr; he remained in the house with his wife Evelyn until circa 1959, at which time the house was occupied by Rev. Andrew E. Johnson, the pastor of the adjacent Kenosha Bible Church. The house remains under the ownership of the adjacent church. |
