Two-story with hipped roof; recessed central doorway with columns to either side and is topped by a hipped roof overhang with brackets. Windows are multiple-light examples. Bibliographic References: | Date of construction from permit, dated 8 April 1924. Exterior of house strongly resembles that of Gordon Van Tine Home No. 536, in the 1923 catalog of Gordon Van Tine; however, there is no sunporch on the West Allis example. The 1929 Van Tine catalog shows the same house plan, however, minus a sunporch (like the West Allis example), and it is named "The Glencoe." |
