NOTES
Additional Information:FAIRLY INTACT. REPLACED WINDOWS AND DOORS AND ALTERED WINDOW OPENINGS.

2007- "The Holm/District No.2 School was constructed in 1915 (datestone) and is located at the southwest corner of the CTH
G/Mill Creek Road intersection. Constructed of brick, the building is one-story in height and has a
raised basement with a stone foundation. It faces CTH G and is oriented parallel to the roadway. A pyramidal roofline
caps the square building. Centrally located within the roofline (on the facade) is a projecting bay with a gable-roof
orientation. This bay is also built of brick and trimmed with a slightly-raised parapet with large eaves, corner braces,
corbelled brick, and a round window opening. Also incorporated within the roofline of the former school (but off-center)
is a pyramidal roof bell tower. This bell tower is open, constructed of frame, and is capped with a pyramidal roof. It may
have been a later, but early addition. All rooflines of the former school are sheathed with asphalt singles. The biggest
alterations to the building have been the addition of replacement doors and windows, which have subsequently reduced
the size of the original openings."
