Additional Information:This school structure features a recessed two-tiered octagonal entrance pavilion with a copper cupola and three bas-relief panels - "Character," "Body," and "Mind" - appearing in the octagon. The front door has a half round fanlight transom and a pedimented surround. The school was renamed after former superintendent De McLane. Another map code is 18/15 on the DOT map.
