| Additional Information: | West Bend Aluminum occupies the whole east bank of the Milwuakee River north of Washington to where the river bends at Kuester. The 1978 photo was taken from the corner of Kuester and Main, looking across Milwaukee River to the West Bend plant. Other map codes include 58/3 on the City Map, 20/20 on the DOT map, 57/33 and 57/37. 2008 - This part of the West Bend Company (by this time purchased by Regalware) was converted into condos. Also contains a YMCA branch and assorted retail. |
