Additional Information: | STEEPLY PITCHED GABLES ON SHINGLED SECOND STORY WITH CIRCULAR TURRET CLAPBOARD FIRST STORY WITH PORCH IN 1975. BY 2008, HOWEVER, THE HOUSE HAD BEEN RESIDED IN VINYL. A FINE CARRIAGE HOUSE LOCATED BEHIND THE MAIN HOUSE HAS ITS OWN AHI#(15533). HOUSE IS SHOWN ON 1898 SANBORN-PERRIS MAP AND ON 1896 BIRD'S EYE VIEW OF WASHBURN. George Fox, the town's druggist, was the first owner of the house. The Ungrodt family purchased it around the turn of the century and lived in it for many years. |
