Additional Information: | A 'site file' (Mahr's Hillside Farm and Orchard) exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation-Public History. 2007- The Hillside Farm Orchard complex consists of a house and several buildings ranging in date from c.1910 to c.1930. An orchard of apple trees is also included in the property. A c.1930 shed lies to the southwest of the barn. The front gable building has a rectangular plan and the walls are rusticated concrete block. Six-over-six, double hung sash windows are located on the facade, as well as a pedestrian door. DOE signed 4/12/2011 Online research (MAP) in 2019 found that this farmhouse and all its associated outbuildings were demolished between 2011 and 2014. |
