NOTES
Additional Information:The icehouse features horizontal full-log construction with saddle-notching at the corners. It is built into the embankment in the rear and rests on a stone foundation. In 2000, rehabilitation work was done to repair damaged logs and the collapsing roof. Replacement logs were hand-hewn to match the original logs and, when possible, were spliced into the existing logs. The hardware associated with the doors and other features were retained. A Historic Structure Report of this building can be found in Room 312 at the Wisconsin Historical Society. #1016 #1017 #23508 #147307 #147321 # 147323 #147341 #147342 #147343 #147344 #147345 #147421 #147422 #147423 #147424 Ice House
