Additional Information: | CARVED BARGEBOARD IN GABLESMALL SHINGLED SQUARE DORMER W/ ROUNDED CNRS & BRACKETED EAVES PORCH W/ PAIRED DORIC COLUMNS AND WOOD SHINGLED PEDIMENTLEADED GLASS WINDOWS [Date Cnst:(OWNER)] 2022 - This Queen Anne house was constructed in 1891. The primary elevation of this two-and a half-story residence faces north, with a hipped, asphalt-shingled roof with cross gables and dormers and a stone foundation. The house is clad in wooden clapboards and features a hipped roof wrap-around porch at the northeastern corner, and a gabled, shingled pediment over the entrance. The porch is supported by groups of two and three Doric columns atop square bases. The height of the bases have been increased since the time of the last survey, and a new balustrade installed. The north-facing gabled dormer contains shingling and carved bargeboard in the eaves. The small dormer at the top of the hipped roof mass features rounded corners and brackets beneath the eaves. Though the house formerly contained numerous leaded glass windows, most openings appear to contain modern one-over-one double hung sashes, though the bay window on the primary elevation retains its leaded glass transom. A concrete block utilitarian building with a rounded arch roof is attached to the western elevation of the Queen Anne house via a one-story hyphen. |
