Additional Information: | EXPOSED RAFTER ENDS 2021: This 1 ½ story Front Gabled house was constructed c.1900 as the Buckhorn School in the Town of Lincoln and relocated to its existing site in 1946 at which time it was given an upper story (and, presumably, a new roof). It is rectangular in plan with asbestos siding and an asphalt-shingled gable roof with exposed rafter ends. The front east elevation and is asymmetrical in composition with an off-center shed-roofed enclosed porch. The porch roof is clad in corrugated metal and features exposed rafter ends. The front wall of the porch contains a single door and a bank of six 1-over-1 windows in its front wall. Note: 2021 photo taken from Main Street; 1987 photo taken from West Street. |
