Additional Information:A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation-Public History. Heidelberger was a noted cancer researcher at the University of Wisconsin. According to the building permit and a newspaper article cited above, his contractor was Lloyd Foust, but the contractor is also said to have been Marshall Erdman. Herb Fritz designed the original house and also an addition to the house that was built in 1956.
