| Additional Information: | 2005- "This two-story commercial vernacular building has details that suggest the Twentieth Century Commercial style. The building is constructed of multi-hued brown brick and has a flat roof decorated with stone coping. A thin stone belt course defines a simple cornice that is accented with stone tabs. Second story windows are simple single-light sashes sitting in the walls individually, paired, or tripartite. The first story has a comer storefront and there are two storefronts on both the Capitol Drive and Murray Avenue sides. The corner storefront has large metal and glass show windows on a concrete bulkhead. There is an additional small storefront along Capitol Drive with a single show window. It has the same decoration as the main block. The Murray Avenue elevation has one storefront and a central entrance of double metal and glass doors." - "E Capitol Dr, Estabrook Pkwy to Lake Dr", WisDOT ID #2025-12-011", Prepared by Carol Lohry Cartwright (2008). |
