Additional Information: | The house was originally designed for Miss Alma Deuster, the unmarried, socialite daughter of Peter Victor Deuster, who was the publisher of the Milwaukee German Newspaper, The Seebote. It does not appear that Alma ever lived here; instead Jack and Lyla Williams were the first to reside here from 1923 to between 1928 and 1929. Jack Williams would eventually become the VP of the DeBoer Motor Company, dealers of the Paige and Jewett brand cars. |
