Additional Information: | This property was previously inventoried in 1978. POLYGONAL TURRET W/ PAVILION ROOF W/ FLARED EAVES ROUND WINDOW IN GABLE (1978). This farmstead is comprised of a house, garage, and several outbuildings. The circa 1890, one-and-a-half-story Queen Anne style house rests on a concrete block foundation, is faced with vinyl siding, and has a steeply pitched asphalt shingle front gable roof with eave returns. There is an octagonal turret with a steeply pitched octagonal roof surmounted by a copper finial on the north corner and gable wall dormers on the side elevations. There is a full-width from porch with replacement columns and a mansard roof. Visible fenestration includes one-over-one vinyl windows (2011). A circa 2011, frame shop building is under construction southwest of the house. It has a gable roof and one-over-one and sliding windows. A c. 2000, two-car frame garage with a front gable asphalt shingle roof and metal overhead door is located south of the house. A small, circa 1920 outbuilding is located southeast of the house. It has a concrete foundation, clapboard siding, and a gable roof. There is a modern lean-to on the northwest elevation.A circa 1990 metal pole building is located further to the southeast. It is faced with ribbed metal and has a front gable roof and sliding doors.A small, narrow building is located on the southwest side of the pole building. This building was not visible from the road (2011). |
