Actually located just outside of Little Chute in the civil town of Vandenbroek.

This is a one story, front gabled shed that is used as the locktender's station. Clad with asbestos shingles and roofed with asphalt shingles, its walls are bounded by pilasters strips. The front door and single side windows have plain surrounds. The roof has a plain cornice, and a brick chimney protruding at the rear of the downstream slope.
