Additional Information: | This monument was built to commemorate the life of Ephraim Bowen (1824-1890), who was a major factor in the business life of Brodhead. The monument was the model for the Almeron Eager monument in Evansville, Rock Co., WI. Note: this monument is located in the Greenwood Cemetery in Brodhead. Brodhead is in Green County but the cemetery may actually be located in Rock County because 9th Ave. appears to straddle the Green Co./Rock Co. line. |
