Inusch, who also lived at this residence, was born in 1816 in Germany. He came to Milwaukee around 1847 and headed the Inbusch firm. In 1857 he became the president of the State Bank of Wisconsin. (note: these are two different people ) John D. Inbusch was a partner in Inbusch Brothers, wholesale grocers. Located at 238 and 240 E. Water St, the business was established in 1847. Trade was conducted throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota , Iowa and Michigan. |
