NOTES
Additional Information:The house is first indicated on the 1930 map as part of an 80-acre parcel owned by Carl E. Friedrich. However, according to the current owner, Jim Hannemann, the farmhouse may have been constructed ca. 1940. Mr. Hannemann also states that the original house on this property was built of log, as was an early barn; however, both are gone, and no buildings are indicated on this property on the 1881 and 1901 maps. Carl E. Friedrich owned the 80-acre parcel until at least 1973, when his wife, Emma, retained ownership. Later, about 1980, Carl and Emma's son, Roland, assumed ownership. Plat maps indicate that sometime between 1990 and 2000, the 80-acre parcel was reduced to 75.22 acres, the result of WIS 29 expansion. Roland Friedrich retained ownership until 2008, when he passed. Since then, the property has been owned by Jim Hannemann. The house is currently rented as is the surrounding agricultural land.

Resources for the Carl E. Friedrich farmstead include the farmhouse (#165261), barn (#165262), corn crib (#165263), privy (#165264), garage (#165265) and Quonset shed (#165266).
