NOTES
Additional Information:2015- "This early twentieth century farmstead contains five historic resources including a Gabled Ell house (168442), dairy barn with attached silo (168461), machine shed (168462), milk house (172601), and small outbuilding (168463).

The small outbuilding (168463) was constructed c.1920 and is rectangular in plan with horizontal board walls and an asphalt-shingled front-gable roof. A pair of hinged doors and a single doorway are located in the northern elevation; the hinged doors do not appear to be wide enough to constitute a vehicular entrance. Two 1-over-1 windows without glazing are located in the western elevation."
-"CTH LP, USH 10 to CTH AP", WisDOT#4992-00-56, Prepared by UWM-CRM (Gail Klein), 2015.

The earliest available historic atlas showing land ownership is dated 1893; it indicates Mat Harrs as the owner of the property, which at the time encompassed 60 acres. Aside from his land ownership in 1893, no other information was about Mat Harrs was uncovered. The 1920 atlas map indicates Michael Merget as the owner of the property, which at that time encompassed 55 acres. The 1930 map also indicates Michael Merget as the owner of the same acreage. By 1954, the property was still under the the ownership of the Merget Family; however, Frank Merget was the owner. Frank retained ownership of the farmstead until at least 1986 when Gordon Van De Hey became the landowner, of which he remains today.

Other properties associated with this record include: House (AHI 168442), Dairy Barn (AHI 168461), Milk House (AHI 172601), Machine shed (AHI 168462),
