NOTES
Additional Information:2010-
Erected in 1971. At its grand opening, the building was said to have a "new" concept in building design - it was a "Butler building" which has a partial steel frame. The Ebner Construction Company of La Crosse was responsible for erecting the 60x70 foot building which has a full basement. It was also designed as a bomb shelter. The building features glass and brick walls and an aluminum roof. The interior originally featured four private offices, a conference room, the vault, a book-keeping department, a reception area, a large meeting room, supply rooms, restrooms, and a kitchen.

The Union State Bank was organized in 1932 but its history dates back to 1903 when the West Salem Bank and the La Crosse County Bank were organized; they later merged to form the Union State Bank 1932.
