2014: The August Schauer House is a two-story, square-plan farmhouse constructed c.1880. It has a stone foundation, brick cladding, and truncated hip roof sheathed with asphalt shingles. The symmetrical front (south) facade features a partial-width hip roof porch raised on stone blocks and supported by battered wood columns. A similar porch is located on the east (side) elevation. Windows are replacement one-over-one vinyl sashes with arched hoods. The transom over the front door has been filled with brick. The house features modest decorative elements, including cream brick quoins and window hoods. The only other building on the property is a modern garage located east of the house.
