Additional Information: | LOW AND SPRAWLING WAREHOUSE BOARDED UP. In photo and/or map codes, (F) stands for Fox River Valley Survey. Negatives filed with survey project. NAER INVENTORY (07/1979): This building was built in 1902 by the Oneida Knitting Company with A.D. Reiss as manager. The first floor was used for storage and on the second floor the knitting machines were operated. The company went out of business in 1950 and the building was sold to Larsen Cold Storage. In 1965 the building was sold to the Osen Milling Company, and used as a warehouse. The rectangular building is wood framed with a limestone foundation. The structure has two stones with a gable roof and the exterior walls are covered with metal sheet siding. |
