Additional Information: | 2011- "This 21/2 story American Foursquare house was constructed in 1918. The house is rectangular in plan with a concrete foundation, brick and stucco walls, and an asphalt-shingled hipped roof. The front elevation of the house faces southwest and is symmetrical in plan with a centered front entrance that is accessed via a flight of steps with stepped brick half-walls on each side. Multi-pane sidelights are located on each side of the front door. Pairs of large multi-pane windows are located on each side of the front entrance. The first story of the house has brick walls; the second story has stucco walls. A second-story door is located above the main entrance; surrounding railings appear to have been removed. Hipped roof dormers with banks of three multi-pane windows are located at the attic level of the southwest and southeast elevations. A first-story side entrance projects from the southeast elevation." -"STH 38/Northwestern Ave/State St", WisDOT #2290-17-00, Prepared by GLARC (Gail Klein), (2011). |
