Additional Information: | 2011- "This 2-story Cross-gabled house was constructed c.1900. It is irregular in plan with a concrete block foundation, aluminum siding, and an asphalt-shingled cross-gable roof. The front elevation faces south and is asymmetrical in plan due to irregular fenestration and an off-center entrance. A 1-story, flat-roofed porch wraps around the south and part of the west elevations. The porch is supported by Tuscan columns on brick piers; a cross-braced wooden railing runs between the columns with wooden trelliswork between the piers. Windows are 1-over-1 double-hung with wooden surrounds and broken-gable hoods. Brick chimneys protrude from the roof peaks." -"STH 38/Northwestern Ave/State St", WisDOT #2290-17-00, Prepared by GLARC (Gail Klein), (2011). |
