| Additional Information: | LARGE HOUSE ON E SIDE WITH QUEEN ANNE STYLE DETAILS This large two story frame house with attic features intersecting shingled gables and original 2/2 sash windows with simple moldings. The front facade on 3rd Street East is symmetrical and includes a large shed roof veranda with pillars. Property includes much of its early landscaping and is surrounded by a white picket fence. House is larger than most East side residences and stands tall on this residented skyline; however, it is less grand than comparable scale houses on Chapple or MacArthur Avenues. Mrs. Doley interviewed on September 16 and reports house to have been in same family since it was built. 2017: Little in the way of identifiable exterior changes aside from window replacement. |
