NOTES
Additional Information:This two and one half story frame house exhibits design features of the Queen Anne style. These features include chamfered corners with pendants, two story three sided bays which are capped in the attic story by a gabled roof, and a fully detailed front porch with a spindled cornice and turned posts. Formerly a single family residence, the building, which is in excellent condition, now serves as a duplex. It was owned by Karen A. McGuire in 1982.

This residence was built in about 1890 for August Buggs, a coal miner. City directories suggest that Buggs rose from a temaster for the Hogoboom and Phelps coal company in the 1870s to owner of his own coal firm.
