Additional Information: | Photo code #2: 75BR-12/4 Excellent, elaborate example with a wide band of thin, vertical tongue and groove boards encircling the house between the water table and the first floor window sills. The west facing ell ahs a canted first floor with an elaborate open porch above. The upper gable end of this ell covers the orch below, has a segmental arched triple window grou, and is sided with tongue and groove board siding. An elaborate scrollwork decoration is placed above this window group. The front facing ell has a wide band between the first and second floor windows composed of small square panels. These panels alternate in pattern between a simple plain panel and one having a raised bullseye design. Above the second floor windows of the ell is another bandof tongue and groove board siding with the upper gable end sided in clapboard and which is hidden by the elaborate gable decoration above. The uppermost gablet end of the combination gable and hip roof has an elaborate sunburst design. #650: Carriage house behind is a small 1 1/2 story original building.
