Additional Information:To be demolished 3/1999. This two-story blacksmith shop features a rectangular shaped plan configuration, a stone foundation, a cut stone exterior and trim, and an asphalt shingled gable roof. The fenestration is symetrically aligned. Stone lintels and sills adorn the windows throughout the structure. This building is in fair condition. It is architecturally significant because it represents a type, period, or method of construction.

Historical Statement: This early stone building, constructed in c. 1855, was originally built as a blacksmith shop for Roswell Hill. (See Bib. Ref. A, B, C). A small broom factory one operated on the second floor.
