NOTES
Additional Information:This rectangular shaped house is built of buff colored brick. It is two stories in height with a low pitch gable roof. In addition to the low pitch roof, the house exhibits the following Italianate features: overhanging eaves with paired brackets and decorative window hoods on the front facade. The front porch and the enclosed side porch are alterations.

This house was built in the late 1850's for David Noggle. Noggle, a native of Pennsylvania settled in Beloit in 1839, where he practiced law. In 1846, he was elected a member of the first constitutional convention from Rock County. He moved to Janesville in 1850, and in 1854 was elected a member of the state assembly. Subsequently he served as a judge of the first judicial district. He moved to the Idaho Territory in 1860.
