NOTES
Additional Information:The Waukesha Bible Church organized in 1951 and originally held services in rented rooms. In 1952, the congregation obtained the site for the present building and work commenced on the church annex. It was designed by Carl Johnson of the Chicago architectural firm of Johnson & Johnson, who donated his time to the endeavor. The annex was the site of all church activities until the church building was completed in 1959. The church continued at this location into the 1990s. It is currently known as the Crosswalk Church

2016- "Constructed in 1959 ( datestone ), this Contemporary-style church is sheathed with brick and features a broad, sloping gabled roof topped with a metal steeple. The primary (north) facade fronts Hoover Avenue and consists of a recessed, floor-to-eave curtain wall comprised of plate-glass windows and metal panels set within aluminum framing. The expanse of brick to either side of the curtain wall contains a vertically oriented stack of individual stone blocks as well as a datestone. The left (east) sidewall features four large, curtain wall windows and a brick block topped with the extended slope of the main roof. The right (west) facade is dominated by a flat-roof wing (built in 1953) from which telescopes to a shorter, flat-roof addition. The interior of the church recently was renovated during which time the interior nave windows were replaced with modern colored glass, the pews were removed and sanctuary platform elevated. Office, meeting spaces and classroom areas were also renovated.
