Additional Information: | This MAY have been a creamery ca. 1907 to ca. 1920. The other buildings on site are a ca. 1975 residence and two, ca. 1975 metal pole buildings. 2011 - "This property consists of a one-story Side Gable frame building that may date to ca. 1906; a ca. 1975 residence; and two, ca. 1975, metal pole buildings. The Side Gable building is one-story tall, with a concrete foundation, clapboard siding, and asphalt shingles on the roof. Some of the 1/1 appear to be replacements. A gabled, enclosed entrance porch has been added to the southerly (front) facade. A cheese factory stood on the property by 1891. By 1907, a creamery had been erected on this site. both had ceased operation by ca. 1920. The Side Gable building may have been the creamery..." |
