Additional Information:A 'site file' titled "Menomonee River Parkway" exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. 2011- Irregular plan, one-story golf course clubhouse with a flat roof and projecting chimney on the east elevation. The building has brick veneer siding and original fixed and sliding aluminum sash windows. The primary entry is located on the east elevation; however, there are two additional entry doors on the west and north elevations. Date of construction from the Milwaukee County database. The Currie Park Golf Course was established in 1927 on land formally used as the first small public airport in Milwaukee County. The 18-hole course was designed by George Hansen. The clubhouse and other buildings on the course were constructed in 1955. Resurveyed 2021: appearance unchanged
