Additional Information: | 2011- Milwaukee County drafted a development plan for Sheridan Park in 1932, which included athletic facilities, a formal garden, and lagoon. By 1937 Sheridan Park included a bathhouse, pavilion, bandstand, and several service buildings. Moreover, the park accommodated baseball, football, horseshoes, softball, volleyball, tennis, swimming, picnicking, concerts, tobogganing, ice hockey, and skating. Sheridan Park features athletic fields, a bathhouse and pavilion, paved pedestrian paths, a lagoon with model boat launch, and modern lights. Sheridan Park is located in the Lake Michigan South Parkway. |
