Additional Information: | A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the State Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation. This large frame house features a polygonal corner tower, characteristic of Queen Anne style designs; however, the treatment of the exterior suggests a Shingle Style influence. The two story house rests on a cut stone foundation and is covered by a gable roof. The roof curves down to the first floor on the east side. According to the building permits, the buliding was remodeled in the 1930's and 1940's. |
