Additional Information: | Photo code #2: 75BR-6/30 Very fine Queen Anne largely original condition save for the altered front doors and the installation of a large 25 light picture window on the first floor facing the front. Otherwise, the house is in excellent condition and is notable for two two-story, gable roof polygonal salients, one on the north facade and one on the south facade. The north facing salient has a two-story hip roof rectilinear by attached, having an enclosed first floor and an open second floor above used as a porch. Alternating bands of diamond pattern and fishscale wood shingles separate the two floors of the bay with the open second floor having turned supporting columns and elaborate jig-saw cut detailing. The front facade has a sunburst decorating the third floor gable end and the front facing main gable end is sided with fishscale wood shingles with stucco above. |
