Additional Information: | City of Green Bay, Wisconsin - Architectural and Historical Intensive Survey Report Phase 1 - 2021 Photo code #2: 75BR-6/26 Multi-unit old apartment building does not clearly fit into defined stylistic categories. Unusual steeply pitched hip roof has smaller hip roofs facing front and sides at corners of the roof, which do not cover corresponding salients below. There are two two-story polygonal bays, one on the north facade, one on the south. The main facade is symmetrical and has a full-width, open front porch having a shed roof with a centrally placed pedimented gablet over the entrance. The porch is supported by six slender Tuscan Order columns and the porch covers the polygonal bay windows that flank the two entrance doors. The front facing dormer is clapboard sided - similar siding probably originally covered the whole building. |
